Hemel Hempstead Model Flying Club

Welcome to the website of Hemel Hempstead Model Flying Club.

Our Club has been in existence for 40 years. Our aim is to promote model flying as it was in the past; FUN, ENJOYABLE but SAFE.

We are not affiliated to any other association as we believe in the freedom of choice, something which is fast being eroded in today's modern society. Over the years we have trained many novices to the hobby into good safe pilots in a very friendly manner.

Our training is performed on a 'buddy box system' by members/instructors that have many years experience in building, model setting up and flying. We are first and foremost a Fixed Wing Club (Planes) as we do not have instructors for helicopters.

We have two flying sites, both have containers/club rooms, both sites have good mown surfaces and are in open country. If you are new to the hobby then this is the Club which would help you enjoy the thrill of model flying.

New members are always welcome.
